Do you see me …a glimpse even
In many a child in the streets
Not mine nor yours
for I have changed ,tamed
feeble & week
Living amongst many
yet living alone ..
You of all should probably know
that at nights…Weary & tired
through an aching soul
a soaking eye
your memories still linger
a last light
my dearest untamed…
Strange how untidy
the canvas of life
has painted in to
after when we last parted
The frozen lake of Stratford
Or a dorm in a local train
Still holds my breath of youth
while here I am
A tiny petrol car
In an endless journey
where we met & lost
our own story
Do you even recall
that final moment
we choose to walk
our own path
the final kiss goodbye
From that day
of never to be seen
long time ago…
it made my throat ran dry
knowing that your kids
will follow the same trail
that we tread to the library
on a greener day
for I have seen their eyes
from the dim lights at a nearby shrine
MY DEAREST UNTAMED
